life as a second shooter

Last weekend I had the pleasure of working as a second shooter to Jennifer, of Jennifer Jacula Photography (http://www.jenniferjaculaphotography.com), at a local Vermilion wedding. What an awesome experience it was to work with one of our local professional wedding and portrait photographers! I feel blessed that Jennifer agreed to let me join her that weekend! What a great way to learn and perfect something I love, all by spending the day with a successful profession, such as Jennifer.
It's always fun to get to work along side someone who's passionate about their industry (and not just in a photography sense!;)). I appreciate the learning opportunities that Jennifer has presented to me, especially on the wedding side of the photography industry. Her willingness to share information and expertise with an up and coming photographer is something I hope to be able to do in the future.
