You know summer has finally hit when grad session has been in full swing for the month of June.. It's a nostalgic time when you get to capture images of grads on their special day, easily bringing back memories of my own graduation ceremonies. I had the pleasure of taking pictures of the gorgeous Miss Rachelle and her lovely family this Saturday. I always enjoy taking pictures when fun things like props are involved. It's great to incorporate elements of what makes my clients special, and Rachelle did it perfectly! Who doesn't want their grad pictures to include playing ball with Mom and Dad, a visit from their sweet nephew (in a ball glove!) and hanging out with great family and friends. I wish Rachelle and the Grads of 2015 all the best in their future endeavours!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of working as a second shooter to Jennifer, of Jennifer Jacula Photography (http://www.jenniferjaculaphotography.com), at a local Vermilion wedding. What an awesome experience it was to work with one of our local professional wedding and portrait photographers! I feel blessed that Jennifer agreed to let me join her that weekend! What a great way to learn and perfect something I love, all by spending the day with a successful profession, such as Jennifer. It's always fun to get to work along side someone who's passionate about their industry (and not just in a photography sense!;)). I appreciate the learning opportunities that Jennifer has presented to me, especially on the wedding side of the photography industry. Her willingness to share information and expertise with an up and coming photographer is something I hope to be able to do in the future. After all that learning, I would like to present some images I was able to capture and edit, from this excellent day of learning! Enjoy! :) |
