Ring in 2018

Wow, 2017 has come and gone in a blink of an eye. Many things have happened for B.C.P.hoto over these last 12 months, and in good ol' fashioned, end of the year blogging, here's a recap of some the top or most exciting events that B.C.P.hoto got to be part of!

In January we went full time as a photography outfit - no more part time photography for this photographer! (At least for the first 4 months while I finished my degree.)
Just before the move across the great divide, B.C.P.hoto had the opportunity to photograph a family she'd been photography for years. And this time, that family had grown by extra kidlets/generations.
Later that spring, the B.C.P.hoto office packed up it's roots in the prairies and headed west to the mountains and deserts of the Thompson-Nicola Regional District of BC.
Upon arrival, B.C.P.hoto, in collaboration with Just.Ag Productions, created "Ranch Stories", photo sessions designed to tell the stories of BC's ranching families. Stay tuned for the 2018 version of "Ranch Stories", that will be unveiled in the new year!
During the summer months the province of BC went up in flames, as the province felt it's worse wildfire season to date. But, B.C.P.hoto had the opportunity to host multiple workshops for the local 4-H club's photography project members. 4-H was a big part of my life, so it was great to give back.
After the flames were put out, B.C.P.hoto was the official beef and sheep show photographer at the 79th Provincial Winter Fair.
The fall was filled with photographing a childhood friend and her fiancé as they announced the arrival of their new one!
Don't forget a second move from one part of the region to the next for the office, prior to settling in a tiny cabin in the land of no cell service.
And to round off the last few months of the year, B.C.P.hoto & Just.Ag Productions have been working behind the scenes to bring some exciting things for 2018!

2017 was a very successful and challenging year, and I can't wait to see what 2018 brings.
