Some sessions just feel extra special — and this one out at the Lundbom Lake grasslands definitely did. The golden fall light, the open hills, and the quiet calm of the season set the perfect scene for a little celebration of love.


For Colleen and John, this was their first time having professional photos taken in ages — a sweet anniversary treat to themselves after many years together. Their pup, Riesling, happily tagged along, adding a few tail wags and playful moments that made the whole thing even more memorable.

Some sessions have a little extra story to them — and the Sutton family’s fall shoot on Kerry’s family ranch definitely did. The air was cool, the leaves were golden, and just as we hit our stride, the rain decided to join in.


Instead of calling it quits, we laughed our way through it — a little drizzle, a few quick dashes between spots, and plenty of cozy moments huddled close. There’s something about a bit of unexpected weather that brings out the best kind of memories.


The kids took it all in stride, finding fun in every drop, while Mom and Dad smiled through the chaos, taking it as only ranch folks can — with good humour and a sense of adventure.

Every so often, a photo session unfolds like a fairytale — and Paisley’s grad shoot was nothing short of magical. Dressed in layers of soft, ethereal blue tulle, she looked like a real-life Cinderella who had just wandered from the pages of a storybook and into the golden countryside.


As she moved through blooming alfalfa and tangled branches, the scene felt straight out of a Disney film — except this Cinderella didn’t need a castle. Just a quiet field, a little wild charm, and her radiant smile.


Paisley brought such elegance and warmth to her session. There’s a strength in her softness, a grace in the way she carries herself, and a sparkle in her eyes that hints at all the beauty she’ll bring to the world.
