One of my favourite parts of being a photographer is meeting new people. I had the pleasure of meeting Ali & Ethan on our winter wonderland shoot.
These two were a bunch of fun, and I feel blessed that they asked me to capture some sweet and special moments, on their very first photo shoot!
We were all thankful that Mother Nature only visited us around the -4C today and the tree's were a thankful windbreak as we wandered the Vermilion Provincial Park looking for the perfect spots!

Wow, what a busy month January has been and it's only half way started! 
Over the Christmas holidays I had the opportunity to snap some pictures of my lovely younger sister, Kelsey. What started off as a project for Mom ("Make sure I have nice pictures of my girls to hang on my wall!"), ended up turing into some creative sisterly collaboration. We decide our best possible back drop would be the Vedder River, in Chilliwack BC, just minutes from my parents house. Once we arrived on location, we played around with some different areas along the river bank. Unfortunately, the water was extremely high so we decided against the idea of wading out onto one of the small islands in the river. Although we couldn't make it off shore, we still had plenty of fun capturing some shots.
