Ahh to be a ranch kid on a ranch as beautiful as Sugarloaf!
I had the pleasure of capturing the Evans family this October at the historic Sugarloaf Ranch in Kamloops. Sugarloaf Mountain made an appearance a time of too as the backdrop which was great! (Interestingly enough, there's MANY Sugarloaf mountains and farms/ranches out there! Who wouldn't want to live/work/play at a place with a name like Sugarloaf!) Mother Nature played nicely for us, adding to the ambiance with some moody skies, bright sun and causal overcast throughout the whole shoot. And the best part - having photo bombers sprinkled throughout the shoot locations. (Anyone peep the black Angus babe taking a bathroom break!? hehe) Thank you Evans family for having me out to the ranch! It was a blast and I'm glad I got to connect with yet another amazing ranching family! ◡̈

Ahh...love! Who doesn't love, love? Or am I just the only romantic here in the comments section?
At the beginning of October I had the pleasure of capturing this gorgeous family in what can only be called a family photo shoot turned surprise engagement. Alycia's mastermind plan included A LOT of strategy when it came to getting the Lego gift (that's a sentimental item for Josh - it came all the way from Germany) plus his super cool Lego themed ring. Peep that bad boy! I'm so appreciative that Alycia picked me to help capture her beautiful family and this amazing surprise engagement session! These 3 were a pleasure to work with and Miss Gwen was a rock star, especially after we roused her from her slumber to be photographed in the blustery Merritt wind. Since what Merritt outdoor photoshoot doesn't include extreme winds?! Thank you Alycia, Josh and Gwen for trusting in B.C.P.hoto to capture some memorable moments...since we all need a Kwik-E-Mart! ;) |
