I'm not sure about you, but engagement photos on a ranch during golden hour really get to me!

I met Allison years ago when we were kids in 4-H, competing at the big South Coastal Judging Rally. Which in retrospect seems like a whole entire lifetime ago and I suppose it was. ;) Fast forward to recent years and our paths crossed again, after I moved back to BC after about a decade in Alberta, and was contracting for various local ag events, while simultaneously wrangling ranchers.

It's been so fun to reconnect with old 4-H friends and see them grow and evolve as we become adults.

Allison and Trevor's shoot was perfect - the light was just right, the cows were cool with Allison's beautiful dress and we had some fun getting silly (just for Tessie!) in the fall leaves.
